BT Sports - ‘Whatever it is, cancel it.’
After a 10 year hiatus of 2 English teams fighting it out for the Uefa Champions League, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur battled it out in the heat of Madrid in 2019.
Having just won the BT Sport pitch, we were tasked to create an integrated campaign to address to the wider public that this particular Champions League was a can’t miss occasion. My particular role was as Account Manager and ‘Football Guru.’ When reviewing the create ideas, the ‘Whatever it is, Cancel it’ idea stood out due to the impact of the statement, given the momentous occasion.
We created a number of Digital Out of Home sites, Press takeovers for publications such as the Evening Standard, TVCs for BT Sports as well as a PR campaign for one lucky individual to see his team play in the final.
